OnePlus Compact Flagship Dead? OnePlus 15T Successor Leak
The OnePlus compact flagship line may be over. According to a report on Technetbook citing tipster Digital Chat Station, OnePlus has no plans to build a successor to the OnePlus 15T, and future releases will move to wider displays instead. This is an unconfirmed leak, and OnePlus has not commented. Here is what is known about the OnePlus 15T, and what the news could mean for buyers in India.
What the OnePlus compact flagship leak says
Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, claims OnePlus will not develop future versions of its compact series. The OnePlus 15T launched earlier this year as a small flagship with top Snapdragon hardware, and remains on sale in China. The leak says the brand will now pivot towards wider screens. Treat this as a rumour until OnePlus confirms it.

The 15T uses a compact metal square camera housing meant to sit flat against your fingers during two-handed use. Prices above are for the Chinese market per Technetbook; there is no India price for this phone.
Why compact phones keep disappearing
Small flagships are rare because big batteries are hard to fit in a small body, yet the 15T still managed 7,500mAh. Even so, sales of compact phones are limited compared with large-screen models, which may explain the rumoured shift. In India, buyers have mostly chosen larger phones, such as the OnePlus 15 with its big battery.
What this means for India
The OnePlus 15T was a China-focused model, so Indian buyers are unlikely to lose a phone they could actually buy. What matters more is the upcoming OnePlus 16 and 16R. See our pieces on the OnePlus 16 India price leak and the OnePlus 16R launch details for what is expected, all of it unconfirmed.
Should you wait or buy?
