Vivo X500 Pre-Booking Open in India: Launch Date, Price
Vivo X500 pre-booking in India has reportedly started at select retail stores, according to a post by tipster PassionateGeekz reported by My Mobile India on 4 November 2026. The tipster says the launch is "happening soon". Vivo itself has not announced the date, the booking amount or the sale date, so this is an unconfirmed retail-level signal, not an official announcement.
What we know about the Vivo X500 pre-booking
The claim is simple: some retailers have begun taking interest from buyers for the Vivo X500 series. The post does not say which retailers, whether a token amount is needed, or when deliveries would begin. Treat it as a hint that the launch is close rather than a booking you can rely on.
Earlier, tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) suggested a 25 November 2026 India launch for all three models: Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. The same lineup has also appeared on India's BIS certification database, which usually means a phone is being prepared for sale in the country. Vivo X500 Pro Max: camera and display details
The Pro Max is the headline phone. The report lists a 6.85-inch flat LTPO OLED from BOE with 144Hz refresh, up to 2,000 nits in high brightness mode and very thin bezels. Cameras are tipped to include a 50MP Sony LYT-910 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide and a 200MP periscope telephoto with Zeiss APO optics and 3.5x optical zoom. A 50MP autofocus selfie camera is also mentioned.
Other tipped features include 4K 120fps HDR video, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an infrared sensor and IP68 plus IP69 dust and water protection. Again, none of this is official yet.
Vivo X500 and X500 Pro: what changes
The standard X500 is tipped to use a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide and a 64MP 3x telephoto, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. The X500 Pro is tipped with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide and a 64MP periscope telephoto. Both are said to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings.
Vivo X500 price in India (expected)
Vivo has not given any India prices. The estimates circulating come from direct currency conversion of the China prices, as My Mobile India and 91mobiles both note: roughly ₹79,000 for the X500, ₹93,000 for the X500 Pro and ₹1,00,000 for the X500 Pro Max. Real India pricing can differ because of taxes, memory variants and launch offers, so do not budget around these figures yet.
Should you wait for the Vivo X500 or buy now?
If you want a camera-first flagship and can wait three weeks, waiting makes sense, because the series is expected to compete with the OPPO Find X10 range and other Dimensity 9600 phones. If you want to take advantage of Diwali offers right now, there are plenty of discounts on current flagships; see our best phone deals during the Diwali sale. Do not pay any pre-booking amount unless Vivo or an authorised retailer confirms refund terms in writing.
