Vivo X500 Launch Date in India: Price, Specs, Pro Max

The Vivo X500 launch date in India has now been tipped for November 25, 2026. According to 91mobiles, tipster Debayan Roy shared the tentative date, and the three-phone series, Vivo X500, X500 Pro and the all-new X500 Pro Max, has already started showing up in Vivo's India teasers. Vivo has not officially confirmed the date, so treat it as a leak until the company says otherwise. Here is everything we know about the lineup, its specs and what it could cost.

Vivo X500 launch date in India: what is confirmed and what is tipped

The series first launched in China in September and then went global in October, as reported by 91mobiles. All three models have also received BIS certification in India under the model numbers V2619 (X500), V2621 (X500 Pro) and V2610 (X500 Pro Max), which usually means a launch is close.

• Confirmed: India launch is coming, and the phones passed BIS certification.
• Tipped (unconfirmed): November 25 as the launch date, per tipster Debayan Roy.
• Not announced: Indian prices, sale date and final India specifications.

The X500 Pro Max is the first Pro Max model in Vivo's X-series. 91mobiles notes that OPPO did the same this year and Xiaomi last year, borrowing the name from Apple's top iPhone. An Ultra model is expected to come later and will not be replaced by the Pro Max.

Vivo X500 series specifications

Here is the quick comparison, based on the global and China versions described by 91mobiles. India versions may differ.

All three models carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, Zeiss-branded cameras and support for the Zeiss G2 teleconverter, according to the same report.

Camera: the Pro Max is the star

The headline feature is the 200MP periscope telephoto with Zeiss APO optics on the X500 Pro Max. If you shoot a lot of zoomed portraits, concerts or wildlife, this is the phone to watch. The X500 Pro is the compact option: a smaller 6.36-inch screen but the same main sensor and a 3.5x periscope.

Battery: big, but it depends on the region

Note that the Pro Max has 8,000mAh in China but 7,800mAh globally. Wait for the India spec sheet before comparing capacities.

Vivo X500 price in India: what to expect

There is no official price. 91mobiles converted the China prices to roughly ₹79,000 for the X500, ₹93,000 for the X500 Pro and ₹1 lakh for the X500 Pro Max, but stresses these are direct currency conversions, not expected India prices. Other outlets have floated higher numbers; My Mobile India reports the Pro Max could cost up to ₹2 lakh (a rumour).

For context, 91mobiles says the OPPO Find X10 starts at ₹1,39,999 in India and the Find X10 Pro Max at ₹1,99,999. That leaves Vivo room to undercut if it prices aggressively.

Should you wait for the Vivo X500 series?

If you are planning to spend ₹80,000 or more and care about cameras, waiting three weeks is reasonable. The launch date is tipped for November 25, which falls after Diwali on November 8. If you need a phone now, today's festive discounts on older flagships may be better value; see our Diwali sale phone deals and the Motorola Signature 27 launch guide, which lands on November 5 and competes in the same segment. You can also compare against the vivo X100 Pro and the iQOO 15.
