Realme 17T 5G Leak: Design Revealed, Launch Expected
The Realme 17T 5G has just appeared in leaked live images, giving the first look at the next phone in Realme's affordable T series. GSMArena and 91mobiles both reported the leak on 3 November 2026. Nothing here is official: Realme has not announced the phone, so treat every detail below as an unconfirmed leak.
What the Realme 17T 5G leak shows
According to 91mobiles, which says it sourced the images exclusively from tipster Sudhanshu, the images show the front and back of the phone. GSMArena describes the front as largely the same as the Realme 16T, with a punch-hole selfie camera and bezels that look slightly slimmer, mainly along the bottom edge.
The big change is on the back. The images show a new square camera island with two pill-shaped cutouts for the camera sensors and one for the LED flash. GSMArena says the island looks similar to the one on the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The unit in the pictures has a matte black finish.
What is not known about the Realme 17T
No specifications, price or launch date have been leaked or confirmed. The reports only describe the design, so any claims about the chip, display or battery from other sites should be treated with caution until Realme or a reliable certification listing says otherwise.
Realme 17T vs Realme 16T: what we can compare
The 17T will succeed the Realme 16T, and GSMArena lists the 16T's specs for reference. That gives a starting point for what the new phone must beat.

|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.81-inch LCD | Not leaked |
| Chipset | Dimensity 6300 | Not leaked |
| Main camera | 50MP | Not leaked |

Where it fits in the Realme 17 series
91mobiles notes that the 17 series will most likely include the Realme 17 Pro and Realme 17 Pro+, with the 17T being the more affordable model that may arrive earlier than expected. GSMArena adds that a separate leak late last month revealed key specs of the 17 Pro series. Should you wait for the Realme 17T?
If you are shopping for a budget 5G phone this Diwali, do not wait on this leak. There is no price or date, and the phone may be weeks or months away. Current festive offers are covered in our Diwali phone deals guide and the best phones under ₹15,000.
Wait if you already like the Realme 16T and want to see whether the 17T improves battery and cameras. Leaked images alone will not tell you that.
Why the design change matters
A camera island redesign is often the first sign that a company is refreshing a whole series, and the 17T's new look suggests Realme wants the cheaper T model to feel closer to the rest of the 17 line. That is only an interpretation of the leaked pictures, not something Realme has said. Leaked live images can also be prototypes, so the final retail phone may differ in finish, colour options or small details such as button placement. Until a second source or an official teaser backs up the images, the safest approach is to treat the design as likely rather than certain, and to avoid paying a premium for a phone that has no price or date yet.
