Realme 17 Pro series India launch, 10,000mAh leak

The Realme 17 Pro series India launch is expected in November 2026, according to a My Mobile India round-up of upcoming phones published on 31 October. Realme has not confirmed specifications, price or a date, so everything below is a leak or rumour and should be treated that way.

Realme 17 Pro series: what the leaks say

My Mobile India reports that the lineup is tipped to use flat OLED panels with 1.5K resolution. The top model could get a 165Hz refresh rate, which would be unusual for a Realme "Pro" phone. The series is also rumoured to run on MediaTek's Dimensity 7500 chip.

The battery is the headline. Leaks point to capacities of up to 10,000mAh, which would be among the biggest ever seen in a mainstream Indian phone. Realme has not said whether such a battery would be limited to one model in the range.

Rumoured camera setup

For photography, the Realme 17 Pro is tipped to have a triple rear setup: a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. A 200MP main camera in this segment would continue Realme's "Pro" camera push. Again, nothing here is official.

Key facts at a glance

Expected price in India

No credible price has been reported yet. Realme's earlier Pro phones sit in the mid-range, so it is sensible to look at what you can already buy there. Our best phones under ₹30,000 guide lists current options, and the Realme Narzo 80 Pro 5G and Realme P4x 5G pages show Realme's recent pricing. A 10,000mAh battery and 165Hz OLED could push the new series above those prices, but that is our reading, not a leak.

Why a 10,000mAh battery matters

Big batteries are becoming the main selling point in 2026. Many November launches already advertise 7,000mAh or more, as our upcoming phones in November 2026 list shows. A 10,000mAh cell would mean multi-day use for most people, but it usually adds weight and thickness. Charging speed matters too, and Realme has not been tied to any wattage in the reports we read.

Should you wait or buy?

If you are shopping around Diwali for a phone under ₹35,000, there is no need to hold out for a phone with no date or price. Waiting makes sense only if you specifically want a huge battery or a 200MP camera and can hold off until December. How to read launch rumours

Leaks that come from supply-chain tipsters and retail listings are often right on hardware but wrong on timing and price. A phone tipped for November can slip into December, and a spec such as a 10,000mAh battery can end up limited to a China-only variant. The sensible habit is to note the rumoured specs, wait for the brand's teaser page on its Indian website, and only then decide. Brands usually open a microsite and a pre-reservation page one to two weeks before launch, so a Realme teaser should appear soon if the November window holds.

What to compare it against

Because Realme positions its Pro phones against the mid-range from Xiaomi, Vivo and Motorola, compare any final price with rivals that have 6,500mAh to 8,000mAh batteries, 1.5K AMOLED screens and 90W-plus charging. Also check the update promise, since two OS upgrades is no longer enough at this price. Our Realme GT 7 page shows how the brand has handled flagship-class specs before.
