OnePlus Turbo 6Vs launched: 9000mAh, India launch?
The OnePlus Turbo 6Vs has launched in China with a 9,000mAh battery, a 144Hz AMOLED screen and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. According to TNP News, OnePlus released it quietly rather than at a big event. It costs CNY 3,699, or roughly ₹53,000 as converted by that report. OnePlus has not announced any India plan, so here is what the phone offers and what it could mean for Indian buyers.
OnePlus Turbo 6Vs price
TNP News reports a single configuration: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage at CNY 3,699 (about ₹53,000). Colours are Nova White and Orange Heart. That conversion is only a currency estimate. A phone sold in India would be priced separately.

The 9,000mAh battery is the story
Battery size is the main draw. The Turbo 6Vs pairs 9,000mAh with 80W charging and 27W reverse wired charging, so it can top up other devices. Bypass charging lets the phone run from the charger during long gaming sessions instead of wearing the battery. The IP69K rating is also unusual for a phone in this class.
Display and performance
The 6.78-inch flat AMOLED reaches 144Hz, with 3,840Hz PWM dimming for eye comfort and 3,200Hz touch sampling for responsive games. Oppo Crystal Shield glass covers it. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is a upper-mid-range chip, not a flagship, so expect smooth everyday use and decent gaming rather than top benchmark scores.
Camera and extras
The camera setup is simple: a 50MP OIS main sensor and a 2MP monochrome lens, with a 16MP selfie camera. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 6 and dual-SIM 5G.
Who is this phone for?
The Turbo line targets gamers and heavy users who care about battery life more than camera finesse. A flat 144Hz screen, a high touch sampling rate, bypass charging and a large 9,000mAh cell all point to long gaming and streaming sessions. The IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings mean it is also built for dust, water jets and hot water spray, which suits users who take their phone everywhere. The weak spots are the basic camera setup, with only a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP monochrome lens, and the LPDDR4X memory, which is older than the LPDDR5 used in pricier phones.
How it compares
At about ₹53,000 in converted terms, the Turbo 6Vs would sit in a price band where Indian buyers usually expect a stronger chipset and a telephoto camera. That is why its fate in India matters. A cut-down India price would make the battery and durability far more attractive, while a direct conversion would make it a hard sell against Snapdragon 8-series phones.
Will the OnePlus Turbo 6Vs come to India?
There is no announcement. OnePlus has often rebranded its China Turbo phones for other markets, but nothing here confirms that for the 6Vs, so treat any India launch as unconfirmed. Should you wait or buy?
If you want a big-battery phone today, do not wait for the Turbo 6Vs. It is not on sale in India and has no confirmed plan. If you can wait a few months, watch for a possible global or India version, and compare it with other big-battery phones on our best battery life phones list.
