OnePlus 16T Leak: Wide Phone With Dual 200MP Cameras
The OnePlus 16T is the latest name attached to an unusual OPPO phone: a compact handset with a wide screen and two 200MP cameras. Everything here is a rumour from tipsters, reported by 91mobiles on 2 November 2026, and OPPO has not confirmed a name, price or launch date.
OnePlus 16T leak: what is being claimed
The phone was first called the OPPO Reno X. Tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) now says OPPO is considering launching it under OnePlus or Find branding after market surveys, because the hardware is premium. Digital Chat Station (DCS) has suggested it could arrive as the OnePlus 16T.
Leaked specifications (unconfirmed)
| Spec | Rumoured detail (source: DCS) |

| Aspect ratio | 16:9 or 16:10 |
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 9600M (3nm) |
| Software | Android 17 |
| Battery | around 7,000mAh or more, 80W charging |
| Build | Metal frame, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP69 |
| Cameras | 200MP main with OIS, 200MP periscope telephoto |
An earlier Reno X leak also mentioned a 50MP ultrawide camera, but the latest specs do not detail it.
Why the wide screen is interesting
Most phones today use tall 19.5:9 or 20:9 screens. A wider panel gives more horizontal room for video and games without a folding mechanism, similar to Huawei's Pura X View with its 6.39-inch 5:3 display. The trade-off, as 91mobiles points out, is that a wider body may be harder to use with one hand and apps may need optimisation.
Will the OnePlus 16T come to India?
Uncertain. 91mobiles notes that no OnePlus T-series phone has launched in India since the OnePlus 10T in 2022. If you want the latest OnePlus in India, our coverage of the OnePlus 16R launch leaks is the nearer-term story, and you can check the current OnePlus 15 for a phone available now.
