Motorola Signature 27 Launch Date in India, Price, Specs
The Motorola Signature 27 launch date in India is confirmed for November 5, 2026, and it is shaping up to be Motorola's most ambitious phone for the country so far. The brand has teased it on its official Indian website, and reports from 91mobiles and Moneycontrol say it will be among the first phones in India with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip. Here is everything confirmed so far, what it may cost, and whether you should wait for it.
Motorola Signature 27 launch date in India
Motorola has officially confirmed that the Signature 27 launches in India on November 5, 2026. The phone was first confirmed for India in October at the India Mobile Congress, according to 91mobiles. It will be the second phone in Motorola's premium Signature line, following the original Motorola Signature.
The phone arrives in a busy month. Motorola's own Moto G47 Power has already made its debut in Europe, and several other brands are lining up launches before the year ends. If you'd rather buy today, check our Diwali sale 2026 phone deals.

Performance and cooling
The big upgrade is the chip. The first Signature used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, while the Signature 27 jumps to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. To keep it cool, Motorola is using a system it calls ArcticMesh, which pairs a vapour chamber that's 40% larger with copper mesh, liquid metal and thermal gel. Motorola also says it added a six-antenna array for better network reception, which matters for anyone who travels or lives in patchy-signal areas.
Display
The screen is an approximately 6.8-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED panel at 165Hz. The refresh rate is the same as before, but LTPO lets the phone drop its refresh rate when you're reading or looking at a still image, which should help battery life.
Cameras
This is where the Signature 27 changes the most. Its predecessor used three 50MP sensors, including a 3x periscope. The new phone moves to a 50MP Sony LYT-910 main camera with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor and OIS, and adds a 200MP periscope telephoto, also stabilised. On paper, that makes it a serious zoom-camera phone. Real results will depend on Motorola's processing, so wait for reviews before judging it.
Battery, audio and software
Battery capacity rises from 5,200mAh on the original to around 6,000mAh. The old model had 90W wired and 50W wireless charging; Motorola hasn't confirmed charging speeds for the new one yet. It is also Motorola's first phone with Bang & Olufsen speakers, replacing the Bose-tuned audio of the last model. On the software side, Motorola is promising seven years of OS upgrades and security patches, and adding Google's Gemini Omni (photo and video generation from text) and Lyria (AI music for videos) tools.
Motorola Signature 27 expected price in India
Motorola hasn't revealed the price, and it won't be official until November 5. For reference, the first Motorola Signature started at ₹59,999 for 12GB + 256GB and went up to ₹69,999 for 16GB + 1TB. 91mobiles expects the new model to start well above ₹60,000, pointing to the newer flagship chip, the camera upgrade and rising memory costs. Treat any specific figure you see before launch as a rumour.
Flagship pricing is climbing across the board in 2026. 91mobiles notes that the OPPO Find X10 starts at ₹1,39,999 in India, and the upcoming iQOO 16, which uses the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, is tipped (unconfirmed) to cost around ₹1 lakh.
How it compares with current flagships
If the Signature 27 lands around or above ₹70,000, it will face phones like the iQOO 15, OnePlus 15 and Samsung's Galaxy S series. Its biggest selling points against them are the 200MP periscope zoom, IP69 protection and seven years of updates. If you're upgrading from an older Motorola like the Edge 50 Pro, the jump in chip, camera and battery would be large.
Should you wait for the Motorola Signature 27?
Yes, if you're shopping for a flagship in the next week. The launch is only days away, and launch-day bank offers often make a new phone more attractive than its sticker price. If your budget is under ₹60,000, though, this phone is unlikely to fit, and the current Diwali sale prices on older flagships may be the better deal.
