The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G price in India starts at ₹24,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, according to PCQuest's launch report. Xiaomi has gone for a curved AMOLED screen, a big battery and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip to compete in the busy ₹25,000 segment.
Redmi Note 15 SE 5G price in India
PCQuest lists three variants:
| Variant | Launch price |
|---|---|
| 6GB + 128GB | ₹24,999 |
| 8GB + 128GB | ₹25,999 |
| 8GB + 256GB | ₹27,999 |
One note of caution: the same report also mentions a ₹22,999 figure for the base model in its intro, which does not match its own price list. Display and design
The curved panel supports 240Hz touch sampling, 12-bit colour, DCI-P3 and 3,840Hz PWM dimming, which is helpful for people sensitive to flicker. The Carbon Black model is 7.35mm thick and 178g, while Frosted White is 7.4mm and 178g. The Crimson Reserve version is 7.82mm and 182g, with a vegan-leather style back and gold-tone frame.
Performance and software
Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is a mid-range chip suited to everyday apps, social media and light gaming. The use of LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 rather than newer memory standards is a cost-saving choice. Note that the phone ships on Android 15 with HyperOS 3, so it is not on the latest Android version out of the box.
Camera
A 50MP Light Fusion 400 main sensor handles photos and 4K 30fps video. The second rear lens is only a 2MP depth sensor, so do not expect an ultra-wide. The 20MP selfie camera covers video calls.
Battery
Xiaomi claims over 44 hours of usage on a charge; real life will vary. The 5,800mAh cell is bigger than the 5,520mAh battery in the standard Redmi Note 15 5G, and 45W charging is included in the box.
