Display and design
The 6.67-inch curved panel has a 2712 x 1220 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of up to 2,560Hz. Mint reports Xiaomi claims 3,000 nits of local peak brightness. At 8.2mm and 190g it is a relatively slim phone. Extras include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster.
Performance and cameras
The Dimensity 7300-Ultra is a mid-range chip paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, so expect smooth everyday use rather than flagship gaming. The camera setup is led by a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, backed by 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensors. A 20MP selfie camera handles video calls.
Battery and connectivity
The 5,500mAh battery with 45W charging is modest compared with what Indian brands now offer. Many phones in India now ship with 7,000mAh or larger packs, such as the vivo Y600 with a 10,000mAh battery. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and GPS.
A rebrand, not a new design
Mint says that, according to Xiaomi, the M100 Pro is a rebranded version of a Chinese Redmi Note 14 Pro model from 2024. That matters: if the Note 14 Pro series is familiar, you already know roughly what to expect. See the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G pages for comparison.
Will the Redmi M100 Pro launch in India?
Mint states there is no official confirmation of an India or global launch, and the phone is expected to remain exclusive to China. Treat any India price you see online as speculation. Xiaomi's confirmed India plans centre on the Xiaomi 18 Pro; read the Xiaomi 18 Pro India launch date and price guide.
How the price compares
At about ₹33,000 on a straight currency conversion, the M100 Pro would sit in the same band as the Vivo T5 5G, which starts at ₹34,999 in India with a 7,050mAh battery and a 144Hz curved AMOLED display (see our Vivo T5 5G review summary). Mint's conversion is only an approximation: Chinese prices exclude Indian taxes and Xiaomi often prices differently when a phone does reach India. The takeaway is that the M100 Pro looks modest on paper for the money, with a smaller battery and slower charging than many Indian rivals.
What to watch next
Keep an eye on Xiaomi India's announcements for the Xiaomi 18 Pro, which the company confirmed at India Mobile Congress 2026, and on Redmi's regular Note and Turbo launches. If a variant of the M100 Pro ever appears in India, it would probably carry a different name, as Xiaomi often rebrands phones across markets. Until then, this remains a China-only launch worth knowing about but not worth waiting for.
